This course, Six Sigma: Analyze Improve Control, provides learners with the knowledge and skills to use the Six Sigma methodology to analyze data and improve processes. Learners will gain an understanding of inferential statistical techniques, correlation and regression analyses, and statistical process control. They will also learn how to use quality management tools, such as the 8 Disciplines and the 5 Whys, to reduce risk and manage process deviations. Through interactive exercises, practice problems, and case studies, learners will gain the skills necessary to earn the TUM Lean and Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.

Upon successful completion of this course, learners will be able to apply the Six Sigma methodology to analyze data using inferential statistical techniques, understand cause and effect techniques for root cause analysis, perform correlation and regression analyses, implement statistical process control using control charts and quality management tools, and use the 8 Disciplines and the 5 Whys to reduce risk and manage process deviations. Learners will also be prepared to take the TUM Lean and Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification exam, which will confirm their mastery of Lean Six Sigma fundamentals to a Green Belt level.
