Surrey Place Centre's Daily Applied Behaviour Analysis Therapy (ABA) program supports the development of functional skills in children to enable them to participate meaningfully in everyday environments. The program is outcome-based and goal-focused, and can target a broad range of areas, including play and social skills, speech and language development, pre-academic development, fine and gross motor skills, self-care, challenging behaviours, and school readiness skills.
The program is delivered primarily at a ratio of 2:1 with some small groups and 1:1 breakout sessions to target specific goals. To be eligible for the program, children must be able to sit and engage in an activity for at least ten minutes and successfully transition to a different activity or location 75% of the time.
