OGSD 70: An Introduction to Oil & Gas Downstream Logistics is an overview course open to everyone. This course provides a comprehensive overview of the capabilities of the SAP Oil & Gas Secondary Distribution (OGSD) add-on, which will be available in the fourth quarter of 2014. Participants will learn about the technical installation and the many applications that come with OGSD, such as OGSD Telesales, OGSD Data Collation, Integrated Dispatch Management, Retail Fuel Network Operations, and Continuous Product Replenishment. This course is targeted at a broad audience, including oil & gas consultants, developers, account executives, OGSD customers, and SAP implementation partners. No knowledge of IS-OIL is required, but basic knowledge of SAP Logistics modules, MM, and SD is advantageous, but not essential.

[Applications]
Upon completion of this course, participants can apply the knowledge gained to their own Oil & Gas downstream logistics operations. They can use the OGSD 7.0 applications to automate typical business processes, reduce errors, and enhance productivity. Additionally, they can use the integrated dispatch management solution to reduce costs for the truck fleet, and the retail fuel network operations solution to manage stock levels, fuel sales, and fleet card management.
