This IIBA Business Analysis Certification course is designed to provide students and professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to become a successful business analyst. The course is based on the IIBA BABOK Guide version 3.0 and covers topics such as the recommended approach to prepare for IIBA Certifications, Business Analysis and the BA Professional, Structure of the IIBA BABOK Guide, IIBA Eligibility Requirements and Exam Blueprint, Business Analysis Key Concepts, Underlying Competencies, Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving, Behavioural Characteristics, Business Knowledge, Communication Skills, Interaction Skills, Tools and Technology. Participants will also have the opportunity to attempt quizzes after each lecture to reinforce their learning. Additionally, downloadable PDFs and an IIBA Application Worksheet are available to help participants remember concepts and check if they fulfil the IIBA eligibility criteria for CCBA or CBAP certification. The course is suitable for students and new graduates, professionals with business or domain experience, experienced business analysts, and managers who manage business analysts. Part 1 of the course will take less than 1.5 hours, while the whole course will take 6.5 hours to complete. As per IIBA guidelines, online courses (without actual instructor) will only qualify for PD hours needed for ECBA application (and not for CCBA or CBAP). Participants will earn 1 PD hour for 1 hour of course content, so for 6.5 hours of the whole course, they will earn 6.5 PD hours for ECBA application. For the rest of the PD hours, they can attend other online courses in business analysis and also claim hours spent on studying the BABOK Guide.
