The Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring course is designed to help learners gain a foundational understanding of the concepts related to business analysis. Aligned with the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge Guide (BABOK3), this course covers the tasks in the business analysis knowledge area, including the general approach, plan for engaging stakeholders, and how to manage information and changes to the requirements.
The course is divided into five sections, each focusing on a different aspect of business analysis planning and monitoring. The sections include Introduction to BA Planning and Monitoring, Plan Business Analysis Approach, Plan Stakeholder Engagement, Plan Business Analysis Governance, and Plan Business Analysis Information. Each section includes an overview of the topic, guidelines and techniques, stakeholders and outputs, and an exercise to help learners apply the concepts.
At the end of the course, learners will have the opportunity to identify performance improvements and apply the concepts to their own business analysis projects. This course is part of the Business Analysis Certification Program which includes 14 courses and can help learners improve their business analysis knowledge and abilities and obtain certifications provided by the International Institute of Business Analysis.
