This course provides an understanding of how to forecast supply chain demand using Python. Students will learn to build forecasting models from basic to more advanced, and will implement each of the models in Python. Real life data with over 3000 SKUs and over 5 years of data and millions of transactions will be used to gain practical knowledge. Upon completion of the course, students will have learned how advanced demand forecasting engines work in expensive commercial software, and will have built their own fully automated forecasting engine. Additionally, students will learn to optimize and select the best forecasting model based on their data, and to visualize forecasted data and errors in an intuitive way.
