Examples are provided to simplify the process. The course also covers fire system types, such as manual hose lines, FDC, and stand-pipe, and how to choose between them and their limitations. Fire pipes and their types are also addressed, including their coating specification and method of connection between pipes according to their sizes. Fire pipe configurations and all basic calculations for the flow rate and pressure loss using NFPA tables are explained with examples.
