In this course, participants will learn how to perform an injection of botulinum toxin type A in order to smooth out facial wrinkles. The product used is botulinum toxin type A, a neurotoxic protein, and the brand used is Botulax, which is equivalent to Botox. Theory will be provided on what is botulinum toxin type A, how to prepare the product for usage, in what muscles or areas it is injected, what dosage is used for each area, how deep and why, before and aftercare for the client, and general advice. A PDF file with written info and pictures will also be provided. Participants will practice the injections on the forehead, between eyebrows, brow lift, around eyes, nose tip lift, nose wrinkles (bunny lines), and chin. A bonus injection on the male face will also be included. Upon completion of the course, participants will receive an automatic email with a certificate of completion.
