This course provides learners with an understanding of the prevalence of sexual assault and sexual harassment in the trucking industry, and the importance of prevention. Learners will gain knowledge of the legal and policy frameworks that protect workers from gender-based violence, and the strategies and interventions that can be used to create safe and equitable workplaces. They will also learn about the importance of trauma-informed responses to reports of violence and harassment, and how to create a culture of respect and inclusion. Additionally, learners will be introduced to abstract watercolor awareness, a creative approach to raising awareness and advocating for prevention. Through this course, learners will gain the skills and knowledge necessary to create a safe and equitable workplace in the trucking industry.
