This course is designed to help parents and creative children and teenagers understand the struggles of dyslexia and how to use it to their advantage. It is taken from a live training session with parents of dyslexic teens looking for practical answers. It is fast-paced, media-rich, and interactive, and is ideal for parents exploring solutions for their children to master high school work. Participants will gain basic knowledge on both mind mapping and dyslexia, including the difference between mind mapping and other study techniques, why colleges and universities recommend using this skill, and why many dyslexia assessors recommend mind mapping as a core skill for dyslexia. The course will also look in-depth at the daily lives of dyslexic teenagers and how parents and children can use mind mapping as an effective skill to overcome many of the challenges of high school. It is not a training in the actual BulletMap™ techniques, but rather is intended to motivate participants to understand how valuable it can be and understand the basics before learning the practical skills.
