This course, The Hidden Side of Energy Access: Clean Cooking, provides an overview of the clean cooking sector and the challenges associated with providing modern energy cooking solutions (MECS) to households around the world. It is designed to help learners understand the nuances and complexities of the sector, and to provide them with the knowledge and tools to help drive progress in the sector.

The course is divided into four modules. Module 1 introduces the topic, defines MECS, and describes the Multi-Tier Framework. Module 2 examines current access rates around the world and explores demand- and supply-side barriers to adoption.
