This course, Mandarin Chinese 2: Chinese for Beginners, is designed for those who have completed Mandarin Chinese 1: Chinese for Beginners or have attended Chinese courses of any types for at least 15 hours. It is a 5-lesson course that uses lectures, short plays, interactive exercises and cultural tips to help learners build a fundamental capability of oral Chinese in real-life situations. By the end of the course, learners will have acquired 300 words, 40 language points and the ability to handle 10 real-life situations.

[Applications]
Upon completion of the course, learners are encouraged to apply their newly acquired Mandarin Chinese skills in real-life situations. They can practice speaking with native Chinese speakers, watch Chinese movies and TV shows, and read Chinese books and newspapers. Additionally, they can join Chinese language clubs or take part in Chinese cultural activities to further improve their language proficiency.
