This course provides an introduction to Check Point technology. It includes both theory and practice, and covers the core products. Participants will learn how to build a lab from scratch in a VMware workstation environment, as well as how to deploy it on an actual server using Proxmox virtualization and port forwarding to a Windows machine. The course is divided into three sections: Introduction to Check Point technology, Building a lab from Scratch, and Building a lab from Scratch on an actual Server (Proxmox). In the Introduction section, participants will learn about the features of Check Point and how it can be implemented in the world of cyber-security. The Building a lab from Scratch section will provide a step-by-step walk-through of Check Point firewall installation in the lab environment, including getting an ISO file, licensing, and choosing the proper configuration in VMware workstation. The Building a lab from Scratch on an actual Server (Proxmox) section will provide a guided approach on how to build a working lab with Check Point products on an actual server.
