ASWP awards $2,500 scholarships to graduating high school seniors from our service area of Allegheny, Armstrong, Butler, Beaver, Fayette, Washington, and Westmoreland counties. Students who are applying to two or four-year colleges to further their studies in an environmentally-related field are eligible to apply.

Sallie Mae will award $2,000 each month to eligible entrants. No essay or account sign-ups, just a simple scholarship for those seeking help in paying for school.

The Pennsylvania General Assembly created PA-TIP in 2012 to prepare students with the skills in high demand by today's employers. Eligible areas of study include energy, health, advanced materials, diversified manufacturing, and agriculture and food production.

The Beverly J. Smith Memorial Scholarship ($2,500) will be awarded to a female resident of Dauphin, Cumberland, or Perry County who attends an accredited college or university in Pennsylvania in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree. Requirements include completion of 60 credits, a minimum 3.40 GPA, demonstration of financial need, and enrollment as a full-time student.

The Sally C. Chamberlain Scholarship ($1,500) will be awarded to a female resident of Dauphin, Cumberland, or Perry County who is seeking to resume or renew academic work. Requirements include completion of 15 credits toward an associate or bachelor’s degree, a minimum 2.9 GPA, demonstration of financial need, and enrollment on at least a half-time credit (6 credits per term) at a college or university in Pennsylvania.

RMU awards multiple scholarship levels to students based on academic achievement and financial need

Each year, the Clarkston Scholars Program provides one sophomore first-generation college student attending a four-year college or university undergraduate program in Pennsylvania, majoring in a life sciences related field of study, a $10,000 scholarship award ($5,000 per year for junior and senior year). In addition, the Clarkston Scholar will receive exposure to the life sciences industry through mentoring with Clarkston Consulting and participation in Pennsylvania Bio events over the course of the two-year scholarship award period.

The Pennsylvania Space Grant Consortium will award one-year scholarships in the amount of $4,000 per academic year to outstanding students across the state of Pennsylvania who promote undergraduate study in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) and are likely to pursue a career in an are of interest to NASA.

This state-funded program provides financial aid to blind or deaf students attending a postsecondary institution.
