This fund was established by a transfer of the Educational Trust of the Inner City Protestant Parish to the Cleveland Foundation to provide scholarship support to enable deserving individuals who are residents of Cleveland or its inner-ring suburbs to further and/or complete their formal education. Currently, the beneficiary pool is identified as high school seniors and adults to the age of 28, who are pursuing an undergraduate college degree, or vocational/technical training. Applicants with financial need and grade-point averages between 2.0 and 3.3 on a 4.0 grade scale are given preference.

The Cleveland's Future Engineers Scholarship Fund was created to advance education by providing scholarships to graduating high school seniors who are residents of Cuyahoga County, plan to attend a four-year college or university, have maintained a minimum 3.2 cumulative grade-point average (on a 4.0 scale), and have demonstrated both an interest and academic achievement in math, science, engineering, or computer technology (with a preference for applicants who plan to seek a career in civil engineering).

Providing support for Cuyahoga County public high school graduates enrolled in college as a freshman or sophomore, or enrolled in a vocational training program. The fund is specifically geared to select students who demonstrate a commitment to educational achievement and have a passion for an initial identified course of study or career path.

Providing scholarship support to graduating seniors of the Cleveland Metropolitan School District who will be attending a post-secondary educational institution, majoring in Education. Selection decisions are based on evidence of significant leadership potential and willingness to contribute time and talent to the community. Additional consideration given to academic merit and a preference to African American students.
