A state scholarship that recognizes the importance of the duties performed by our fire fighters and peace officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty. The scholarship provides the survivors with an opportunity for a college education through a scholarship.

The Horatio Alger Association, through the generosity of its members, provides aid to students in all states who have displayed integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity and demonstrate critical financial need.

The Legislative Lottery Scholarship will pay up to 100% of tuition (up to undergraduate degree) for students who have obtained New Mexico diploma of excellence or high school equivalency credential recipients who immediately attend a New Mexico public college or university.

The New Mexico Scholars Scholarship encourages NM high school graduates to enroll in college full-time at a public or private non-profit postsecondary in NM before their 21st birthday in an undergraduate program.
