The North Dakota Native American Scholarship program was established to provide scholarship awards to Native American students who qualify through an application procedure. The scholarship program provides awards to qualifying undergraduate or graduate students admitted to any institution of higher learning or state career and technical education program within the state.

The Horatio Alger Association, through the generosity of its members, provides aid to students in all states who have displayed integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity and demonstrate critical financial need.
